Christian Legal Society

The Christian Legal Society (CLS) at Lewis & Clark Law School is a group of Christian law students and faculty from diverse denominations and traditions. We seek to cultivate a community grounded in humility, integrity, and grace, where students of all backgrounds, including those who do not share our faith, can thoughtfully engage questions of faith and the legal profession. Our primary focus is first on deepening our own spiritual maturity and integrity as we seek to integrate faith with the study and practice of law through spiritual formation, vocational stewardship, and service. In partnership with other CLS chapters around the country, we provide access to conferences, retreats, professional development opportunities, and funded scholarships.
