Jessica is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, and still feels most at home in the mountains. She has an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the
University of Colorado–Boulder. Prior to law school, she worked at a small
pharmaceutical company that sought to develop new therapies for rare forms of cancer. She also worked in a women’s health research group studying placental development and dysfunction.
Her goal as SBA Treasurer is to ensure that students get the maximum benefit from SBA’s funding. She looks forward to working actively with student organizations and the SBA Events Committee to support their work in fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and engaged community at Lewis & Clark.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys trying new restaurants, various forms of crafting, and backpacking with her partner and dog.
