Lawrence is an Assistant Regional Counsel at the Environmental Protection Agency - Region 6, working in the Office of Regional Counsel RCRA & Toxics Enforcement Branch. Lawrence’s work consists of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act & Hazardous Waste, Clean Air Act – 112(r) - The Chemical Accident Prevention Provisions, the Federal Insecticide Fungicide and Rodenticide Act targeting pesticides regulation, and most recently Civil Rights – Title VI cases assisting with civil rights concerns in Region 6.
Lawrence is an active member of the American Bar Association (ABA), serving on the ABA’s Environmental Justice Task Force helping to advance the goals within the newly updated ABA Environmental Justice Resolution created in 2021.
I’m making a difference in the Texas and Louisiana region. Low-income and minority communities here are historically overburdened and underserved. Working on hazardous waste, Clean Air Act and Title VI issues, I advance Environmental Justice, maximizing protection for these communities.
