Faculty Reference and Letter of Recommendation
In the online application, include the name of a Lewis & Clark Law School faculty member who can speak knowledgeably about your qualifications as a future Wyss Scholar. A member of the selection committee will contact this faculty member directly. You may identify a selection committee member for this faculty reference.
You must also arrange for a separate letter of recommendation discussing your potential as a future conservation leader. The recommender must email the letter directly to Courtney Johnson at courtneyjohnson@lclark.edu. The recommender must be someone other than the faculty member you identify in your application and cannot be a member of the selection committee. The recommender may be a professional contact, someone familiar with your other relevant experience, or another faculty member.
The Wyss selection committee consists of Professors Blumm, Rohlf, and Buchele, along with Assistant Dean Johnson.
All application materials, including the separate letter of recommendation, must be received by 12pm on January 11, 2027.
If you are unable to combine your materials into one PDF, need to submit them in another format, or need assistance, please contact Delia Weidman, Program Coordinator for Environmental, Natural Resources, and Energy Law, at deliaweidman@lclark.edu.
