Animal Law MSL Program Costs & Scholarships
Please note that the information on this page is specific to our in-person Animal Law MSL Program. For details regarding our online Animal Law MSL Program, go here.
General Program Costs
Tuition for the Animal Law MSL Program is determined by the Law School. For the 2021-22 academic year, tuition costs have been set at $1,915 per credit. At 27 credits to complete the degree, the total cost of tuition comes to $51,705. Please note that tuition increases every academic year by approximately 4%. New rates go into effect at the start of each Summer. Additional registration and fee information can be found on the Law School’s Tuition and Fees page. Lewis & Clark also requires students to carry health insurance, which may be obtained through Lewis & Clark’s Student Health Insurance plan, which does not include dental or vision coverage.
International applicants should also consult our Frequently Asked Questions page to review federal personal financial ability requirements to study in the U.S. under an F-1 student visa.
The Center for Animal Law Studies is proud to be able to offer full and partial tuition scholarships for well-qualified U.S and international Animal Law MSL applicants. Applicants who apply by the deadline and permit their materials to be shared with our donors and prospective donors are automatically considered for every scholarship whose criteria they meet.
At this time, none of our Animal Law MSL scholarships cover additional expenses, such as housing, meals, health insurance, airfare, books, and other activities.
