Varnika Singh

Online LLM Candidate ’23

India

Varnika’s love for the environment, nature, and, of course, animals led her to pursue
the online LLM program at Lewis & Clark Law School. She has spent the last four
years as the Legal Manager of a well-known animal protection organization, where
she leads the organization’s legal team. She is involved in some of the most
significant animal law matters in the courts. She has both a BA.LLB and an LLM.
She has spoken or moderated several of the webinars on animal rights and the law.

Varnika wants to learn more about animals and the environment, as well as broaden the scope of her legal profession in animal law. In past years, she has had the
opportunity to concentrate on additional areas of law such as human rights,
trademark laws, and women’s rights.

In her spare time, Varnika enjoys cooking, listening to music, and travelling. She is
excited to begin her new career as an online LLM candidate at Lewis & Clark Law
School, and she is appreciative for the opportunity.
