Emma Orser

United States
MSL Candidate ’25

Emma has always had a huge heart for animals. Ever since she was a little girl, she wanted to be their voice and advocate for their well-being. When she was 13 years old, she started volunteering at her local humane society where she spent her time walking dogs, doing laundry, and helping out in any way she could. Throughout her time volunteering at the humane society, Emma’s passion and love for animals continued to grow. Now, at 20 years old, she continues to spend her time working with animals. She plans to become more involved in animal welfare by volunteering at Heartwood Haven, a farm animal rescue, after completing her undergraduate degree.

In 2021, Emma received her Associate of Arts degree from Olympic College in Bremerton, WA at the same time as her high school diploma. In December 2023, Emma will be graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She is excited to continue her education with Lewis and Clark’s MSL program in Animal Law. She plans to pursue a career working for the betterment of animals.

In her free time, Emma loves to go on walks with her two rescue dogs, Tatum and Toby, and spend quality time with her family!
