Andréa Deroy is an Ontario lawyer, born and raised in Québec City, and the founder of Deroy Law, a practice dedicated exclusively to animal law. Her lifelong love of animals and commitment to their protection led her to build a legal career focused on advocating for their interests and for the people who care for them.
Andréa holds a Juris Doctor (JD) and a Licentiate in Law (LL.L.) from the University of Ottawa and is a member of the Ontario Bar, where she currently practices. She has also been an active contributor to Droit animalier Québec (DAQ) for many years, reflecting her continued connection to Québec and her longstanding commitment to advancing animal law.
Through Deroy Law and her work within the animal law community, Andréa is committed to helping shape a legal landscape in which animals and their interests receive greater recognition, consideration, and protection.
